Our Mission:

At Resilient Roots, we believe big feelings deserve big adventures! Our camp is a place where kids get to move their bodies, create and connect while learning the superpowers of resilience, kindness and confidence.

From silly team games that spark laughter to calming mindful moments under the trees, every day is a blend of play and growth. Campers build friendships, practice problem - solving and discover their inner strengths - whether they are dancing, making art or sharing stories around a circle.

Were not just about keeping kids busy - were about helping them grow strong roots. Roots that hold steady in stormy weather and make space for joy, curiosity and courage.

At Resilient Roots, kids leave camp a little braver, a little more grounded and with hearts full of happy moments!

About:

Planting the Seeds of Resilience

At Resilient Roots Kids Camp, we believe that every child has the ability to grow into a confident, connected, and resilient adult - but they need the right skills and support along the way.

Why This Camp Matters:

In Canada, mental health concerns among children and youth are rising:

1 in 5 Canadians will experience a mental illness by age 25 - and most will show symptoms before age 18.

Positive mental health among youth aged 12 - 25 has declined in recent years, while anxiety and mood disorders have increased.

Many young people say they need mental health support but struggle to access it when they need it most.

These numbers show us that we cannot wait until kids are in crisis. We need to start earlier. That is why our camp focuses on primary prevention - giving kids skills to build resilience, manage and strengthen relationships and feel confident in who they are.

What We Do: This three day camp is filled with engaging, hands - on activities designed to be fun while also teaching important life skills:

Day 1: Self Awareness and Self - Management

Kids learn to understand their emotions, build self - confidence and practice calming strategies for stress.

Day 2: Social skills and Connection

Through group games and teamwork, campers strengthen communication, cooperation and healthy friendship building.

Day 3: Ethical Decision Making and Responsibility

Kids practice making thoughtful choices and learn what it means to contribute positively to their community.
