My 8-year old son, who is neurodivergent, attended the three-day camp focused on social and emotional regulation skills and had a wonderful experience. He looked forward to going each day and has asked to return in the future. Kim was incredibly mindful and attuned to the children’s learning needs, thoughtfully pacing the material based on the group while keeping it both fun and educational. She is warm, patient, and kind, and her calm presence was a powerful source of co-regulation for the kids. Integrating social-emotional learning with a group of children new to each other can be delicate, and Kim did this beautifully. The activities and games created space for the kids to connect, share their own interests, and participate at their preferred pace. I would highly recommend this camp.
